Online courses

Part of my work takes place outside the clinic — in the form of knowledge that supports dogs and the people who care for them in everyday life.

Here you will find courses I have developed or contributed to, as well as recommendations I share because I genuinely believe in them.

Osteoarthritis in Dogs

A compact online course for a good life despite osteoarthritis

I am currently developing my own online course on osteoarthritis in dogs.

“Osteoarthritis in Dogs” will be a compact, practical course for people who want to better understand what is happening in their dog’s body — and how to support them meaningfully in everyday life.

Not just medical background knowledge, but practical guidance and confidence in day-to-day decisions.

Available from autumn 2026.

Medical Matters

The online course for everyday canine health

Together with Gefährtenschmiede, I developed the online course Medical Matters.

The course is designed to help people support their dogs calmly and confidently in everyday medical situations — from understanding minor concerns to recognising genuine emergencies.

For more confidence and less stress — for both dogs and the people who care for them.

Further Courses — My Recommendations

Some aspects of health and wellbeing cannot be addressed through medicine alone — they are shaped by everyday life, movement, and the relationship between dogs and the people who care for them.

The following courses by Gefährtenschmiede complement my veterinary work in exactly these areas. I have contributed small parts to each of them and recommend them because I truly value their approach.

Walking on Sunshine

Loose-lead walking — without pressure

Tension on the lead can place strain on sensitive structures such as the cervical spine and shoulder region — something that is medically relevant, yet often underestimated.

This course shows how calm, relaxed lead walking can truly work in everyday life — in a way that supports both comfort and joint health.

Better together

Off-lead connection and orientation

Off-lead freedom is about more than simply letting a dog run free.

This course explores how genuine orientation and connection can develop — without pressure, but through clarity, trust, and communication.

Bike alike

Safe and gradual bike training

When introduced thoughtfully, running alongside a bicycle can become valuable muscular and joint-friendly exercise.

This course shows how dogs can be introduced to it safely and step by step — without overwhelm or pressure.
